Fire Extinguishers/Fire Suppression; Service Technician Job Opening
We are seeking Fire Protection Professionals who are tenacious, highly motivated, ambitious, detail oriented, can work independently, organized, possess good communications skills and a self-starter with a minimum of three continuous years working at this level in the industry.

|
Qualifications and Duties of a candidate shall be to demonstrate a thorough
understanding of inspection, service, maintenance and recharging procedures for
portable fire extinguishers, wheeled units and fire suppression systems.
Qualified candidates shall be well versed in the appropriate Standards of NFPA
10, 17 and 17A, the NJUFC and the NJFPC. Candidates are expected to acquire
NAFED Certification for both portable fire extinguishers and fire suppression
systems and to obtain-maintain licensing from the NJDOFS.
The Service Technician shall be required to contact customers due for
inspections each month, create a productive route of inspection stops and insure
that all accounts due each month have been inspected in a timely manner. The
Service Technician shall also be required to include emergency calls and new
account inspections in their routing.
