Qualifications and Duties of a candidate shall be a complete and clear
understanding of fire protection installation requirements as stated in the
appropriate Standards of NFPA, ICC, NJPFC and the NJUFC. Licensing from the
NJDOFS and NICET Level II is preferred and a big plus.
The qualified candidate shall demonstrate the ability to completely interpret
installation requirements using the project drawings, update daily installation
progress on the job site contract drawings and recognize the need for a Change
Order. A qualified candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage and delegate
tasks to his Mechanics, Fitters and Helpers so as to meet project scheduling
requirements, completion times and the goals as set forth by the Project Manager
and possess excellent communication skills.
